Wintry Mix Late Thursday into Early Friday
The National Weather Service says we should expect a wintry mix late Thursday through early Friday, with some ice accumulation a possibility.
In fact, a Winter Storm Watch has been issued for areas to the west of St. Cloud, including Douglas, Pope, and Swift counties.
From the National Weather Service this morning: Rain will turn to freezing rain and sleet behind a cold front late Thursday across western MN, which will spread east Thursday night and early Friday. One quarter of an inch of ice is possible across western MN where a Winter Storm Watch is in effect. The precipitation will end Friday from west to east.
