Winter Clothing Needed for ‘Place of Hope’ (Can You Help?)
IT'S A LONG COLD WINTER WHEN YOU NEED HELP
Can you imagine going through a Minnesota winter without a winter coat? How about a hat and gloves? A pair of boots?
There are many people living in our area that don't have the money to get a coat for themselves or their children. These are hardworking people; living paycheck to paycheck that suddenly hit extremely hard times. Without notice, lost a job, fell to illness or death, and are struggling with no hope in sight.
This is where YOU can help.
Look through your closets. Even if you don't have extra money, if you have winter clothing that you're kids have grown out of; or coats, boots and hats that you no longer use that are just in a box taking up space in your closet, those items could be keeping central Minnesotans warm through this difficult winter season.
PLACE OF HOPE
Place of Hope helps those in need; and are in need of winter clothing. Pants, long sleeve shirts and sweaters, boots, hats, gloves and coats. Please don't bring items that don't fit into this category as they just don't have the room right now to store anything extra. They are opening their doors so people have a place to sleep on cold winter nights, and so space is limited.
