Waldo’s Pizza Coming to Downtown St. Cloud [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - A once-popular, but now closed local restaurant is finding new life in downtown St. Cloud.

Waldo's Pizza, housed in the Waite Park Super America until last June, is taking over the old Book-Em's Bar shop front on West St. Germain Street.

Owner Mike Henning says this isn't the first time the over 30 year old business has been downtown. Waldo's had been located on 5th Avenue back in 2004.

Henning says business was slow due to a high amount of nearby construction, but is confident the business climate of the neighborhood has improved since then.

Henning says they're planning to build on and improve their previous business model, which includes a buffet, delivery and a beer and wine menu.

Waldo's Pizza is scheduled to open during the first week of December.
