Vikings cornerback Chris Cook is expected to return Sunday when the Vikings play at Houston Sunday at noon, pregame on WJON at 11am.  Cook has been sidelined the last 6 games due to a broken bone in his right arm.  Viking head coach Leslie Frazier says Cook will play.  The Vikings have been using A.J. Jefferson, Josh Robinson and Antoine Winfield at cornerback in Cook's absence.

The Vikings are 9-point underdogs Sunday when they play at Houston.  Getting Cook back will allow the Vikings to put Cook on 6'3 230 pound receiver Andre Johnson.  The Vikings are 8-6 while Houston is 12-2.  Minnesota needs a win to keep their playoff hopes alive while Houston needs just 1 win in their remaining 2 games to clinch home field advantage throughout the playoffs in the AFC.
