Wild Mountain

Wild Mountain isn't done with the changes though, according to their website a pool, new entrance, and chairlift are on the way in the next few years.

For the past 40 years, they have always been the first to open in the state, and the new owners this year wanted to keep that tradition alive.

As of Tuesday October 29th, the bunny hill, terrain park and both rope tows are open and ready.

Believe it or not, Wild Mountain in Taylors Falls is opening today for skiing & boarding. The combination of Friday's snowfall along with their ability to make snow recently -- is making it possible for them to open a limited number of runs today.
