Earlier this year the new flag idea came from the Minnesota House of Representatives when they passed a bill to add a commission into looking at replacing the current state flag and seal with a new one.

I couldn't pick out any other state's flag if I tried, but I know what my home state's flag is. I look for the blue flag with the state seal on it.
