It was 25 years ago today that Minnesota got dumped on with a massive amount of ice and snow. If you don't remember it clearly, here's a recap of these awful couple days.
Winter Storm Watches & Warnings have been posted for Southern Minnesota for Wednesday and Wednesday night -- with 3-6" expected in the Twin Cities, and 9-12" on the way for Albert Lea and Rochester. We're expected to get little to none of the white stuff here in St. Cloud. No big travel concerns for Easter weekend. Happy Spring!
I love the weather we've been having lately--all of the snow is pretty much gone throughout central Minnesota. But, this isn't our first rodeo if you know what I mean.
A Winter Storm Warning will be in effect from 3:00 p.m. today (Tuesday) through 6:00 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday).
Periods of heavy wet snow, sleet, and freezing rain are possible. Sustained winds of 15 to 25 miles an hour may occur. Snowfall amounts of 8 to 14 inches north of a line from Willmar to Cambridge.
