Four women from central Minnesota are among the 12 finalists to become the next Princess Kay of the Milky Way. The women were selected after a weekend-long event at the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph.
A young woman from both Stearns and Benton counties has been named among the 12 finalists for the 64th Princess Kay of the Milky Way. The winner will be crowned in August, the day before the start of the Minnesota State Fair.
The selection of 12 young women from dairy farm backgrounds Sunday, May 18, in St. Cloud has paved the way for crowning Minnesota’s 61st Princess Kay of the Milky Way, the dairy industry’s official goodwill ambassador.
The 60th Princess Kay of the Milky Way will be crowned tomorrow (Wednesday), as part of the Minnesota's dairy industry's great "Minnesota Get-Together." One of the twelve finalists will be crowned to serve as the goodwill ambassador for Minnesota's nearly 4,000 dairy farmers.
