This week in our "Behind the Scenes" series on WJON, we preheat the ovens and begin cooking 36,000 chicken wings for WingFest on Saturday. Before the feasting can begin a week long cooking spree starts for the staff at Shortstop Custom Catering.

It was a chicken wing paradise in Sauk Rapids on Saturday for WingFest 2014.

We've been seeing a rash of animals in weird places this spring. Ducks on the roof of a house, a groundhog in a tree. And, now, a baby chick on my girl's shoulder.

Wingfest 2011 had everyone in Cold spring to enjoy incredible sauced wings, cold beer, live music and great company. Oh, yeah...and Wolf was there too.
