St Cloud Mall Store Expanding into Former Express Location

It's always good to see progress instead of announcing that things are closing....again.

Just about a year ago, Express clothing store had some financial troubles and closed several of their stores in Minnesota.  And the location in the Crossroads Mall was one of them.  The location in Maple Grove remains open, as does the Outlet location in Albertville.

Since the closing of Express in the Crossroads mall, the space has remained empty.  But just yesterday, there was an announcement that there would be a store moving into that space.  A store that has been in Crossroads for many years, and now needs a bigger space.

Progress.

The store that will be making that move over to that space is the Buckle.  The Buckle has been in the space near Macy's for many years, and now just needs a bigger and better space, as they are doing just fine, financially.  That is such good news considering what is happening to so many other retail stores.

The final date as to when the Buckle will be opening in their new space has not been announced, as they have just started the demo on the former Express space.  This is very much in the beginning stages.  There will be more information coming as progress continues with the demo, move and opening of the new Buckle space.

Meanwhile, The Buckle will remain open in the current space located near Macy's in Crossroads St. Cloud.
