When I think about purple paint, I think two things: GO MINNESOTA VIKINGS and PRINCE!

There actually are many states that have a "Purple Paint Law"; but the state that should OWN the color purple, does not.  Basically, if you are out hunting, hiking, biking, or walking and come across an area in the woods that has purple paint all over the place; it means you are trespassing... and you need to leave.

THE REASON FOR THE PURPLE PAINT LAW

It's a big headache to buy a bunch of "No Trespassing" signs and post them all over your property. When I lived in KY, my husband at the time and I walked acres of land posting signs, only to find them torn down or shot up by hunters that were trespassing anyway.

SAVE VALUABLE LUMBER

More than just loving the color purple, we love our trees right? So why ruin them with a signs being nailed to the trees?

SHOULD MINNESOTA ADOPT THE PURPLE PAINT LAW?

I say...why the heck not?  Save the trees...We have purple pride. We are the ONLY ones who should really be able to claim the color purple, right?
