Severe Weather Possible this Weekend

The National Weather Service says there's a chance of Thunderstorms Friday through Sunday in central Minnesota and west central Wisconsin. These storms have the potential to become severe to the areas south of I-94 Friday afternoon and evening.

Counties that could be impacted most include; Douglas, Todd, Morrison, Mille Lacs, Kanabec, Stevens, Pop, Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Isanti, Chisago, Lac Qui Parle, Swift, Chippewa, Yellow Medicine, Renville, McLeod, Sibley, Carver, Scott, Dakota, Redwood, Brown, Nicollet, Le Sueur, Rice, Goodhue, Polk, Barron, Rusk, St. Croix, Pierce, Dunn, Pepin and Eau Claire.

The NWS is also advising you to take extra precaution if you're in an area prone to flooding since there's a chance of flooding due to heavy rainfall.
