The National Weather Service says there will be a slight risk of severe weather across central Minnesota this afternoon and evening. Large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain will be the primary risks.

Be weather aware, and stay tuned to 98.1 for possible watches and warnings.

From the National Weather Service this morning: There is a chance of thunderstorm for much of the day, but the strongest storms are expected from mid-afternoon through the evening. Severe thunderstorms are possible, especially in the slight risk area. Large hail and damaging wind gusts are the primary hazards, along with heavy rainfall.
