Search Continues for Missing Teen, Aaliyah Kazimer [VIDEO]

ST. CLOUD -- Day three of the search for missing Annandale teen Aaliyah Kazimer is well underway.

Kazimer's cousin Melissa Goldsmith says they are starting to widen their search area.

"We've actually expanded our search now to south of the original grid and north of the original grid."

Goldsmith says part of the ground search involves handing out flyers to nearby residents.

"We will be canvassing in neighborhoods directly adjacent to the park area and off of the SCSU campus."

Water searches have also been expanding, Kazimer's uncle, Jeremy King is leading the water search team.

"We have boats going up and down the shoreline, one of those boats is housing a platform for a drone. Rob's got a drone, hew's zooming over each of the shoreline areas. Then this boat right here [his boat] we're dropping people off on the islands and searching the shoreline around each island."

The family is still looking for more volunteers that can go out on the Mississippi River.

"If it's a a water ready individual, that's water safe certified, life jacket, has a kayak, canoe, or flat bottom boat, that is confident in navigating the river, they can check out Fire Station 5 [in St. Cloud to volunteer]."

Kazimer was last seen at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday in Riverside Park in St. Cloud.

A community prayer will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Riverside Park. Annandale Free Church Pastor Denny Johnson will be leading the prayer.
