
Minnesota Farmers Gather For Essential Tips At Rosholt Research Day
The Minnesota Department of Agriculture reports the annual Rosholt Research Farm Field Day next month in Westport. The event will be held August 21st from 9am to 1pm at the Rosholt Research Farm, 910 Old Highway 28 in Westport.
The event is perfect for farmers, conversation participants and landowners. During the event there will be cutting edge research shared along with hands on demonstrations that focus on improving soil health and nutrient management strategies.

The program will include demonstrations and educational presentations on:
Nitrogen use in irrigated corn with cover crops
Irrigation and Nitrogen Management Strategies
Soil Health Assessment Techniques and Erosion Control
Drone Seeding of Cover Crops
You will also have the opportunity to hear from experts working to promote sustainable farming options across Minnesota as well as see the results of on-going research trials that could help you in your endeavors around your farm or home.
