Have you thanked the person at the checkout counter at the grocery store for being there? How about the person taking your beer and liquor purchases out to your car? Have you thanked the workers at the gas stations, those that are working on the frontlines for us everyday?

I have a lot of family and friends that are out there working everyday....working in public places with strangers they've never met. My cousin, my son, my boyfriend. I worry about all of them working for all of us on a daily basis. Shouldn't these people also be getting some special attention?

One of my close friends said this. If you are coming in to our store, please don't say, "Stay Healthy."   Please say, "Thank you for being here, so we can continue to get what we need. You are appreciated."

I do completely thank our medical community for doing all they are doing; but I find that I know so many people that are working because they are needed for our basic necessities. I just want people to thank them as well.

So the next time you see someone working at the gas station, or the next time you ask someone to pack your wine in the back seat, give them thanks for what they do.

You all are appreciated!
