For those of you that just love to read, you might want to think about this great new club where we can all do something together.

One Book One Minnesota is a new statewide book club that invites you to read the same book all across MInnesota, bringing us all together in a virtual way.

THE FIRST BOOK: BECAUSE OF WINN-DIXIE

The first featured book selection is called, Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo (Candlewick Press). This book is a children's novel written by a Minnesota author. It is written for middle grade readers and older, so it's a book that will cross the ages.

HOW TO GET STARTED

Now through the end of May, Minnesotans are invited to read the featured book and will be invited to participate in a statewide virtual discussion with the author sometime in May.
