I've got a huge bone to pick right now with Apple TV Plus. It was just announced that the Charlie Brown holiday specials won't air on television this year. None of them.

According to the New York Post, instead of watching the specials on ABC and CBS like normal, you'll have to sign up for Apple TV Plus to gain access unless you have a personal copy of the holiday specials on hand.

That means, no Charlie Brown Halloween special, Thanksgiving special, Christmas special...nothing.

Minnesotans love Charlie Brown more than most people in the country because the show's creator, Charles Shulz, is a Minnesota native. We've got tributes all over Valley Fair and we even used to have a whole theme park in Mall of America dedicated to the show, called Camp Snoopy.

We've grown up idolizing Charles Shulz and his artwork. His story is inspiring and has given young Minnesota artists hope that they too can create something amazing.

Watching Charlie Brown holiday specials has become a tradition for people throughout Minnesota.

When my husband's grandma was alive, she would call him every holiday and remind him when the specials were airing on TV...even when he was in his 30's. It's something he still talks about today. And, we definitely watch these specials every year.

It's safe to say I was just a little bummed out to hear the news.

If you'd like to avoid having to subscribe to a streaming service, here's where you can buy copies for your own personal collection. I looked on the internet to find the cheapest prices for each holiday special. Check out the links below.
