The number crunchers at HomeSnacks.net have collected and analyzed the data to determine the best states to live in for 2019 -- and Minnesota cracked the Top-Ten.

To determine the best states, the team at HomeSnacks looked at things like population density, unemployment rates, average incomes, education, home values, crime rates, and more.

It's no surprise to us that the Land of 10,000 lakes is among the best. Here's how the top-ten shakes out:

  1. New Hampshire
  2. Massachusetts
  3. Hawaii
  4. Connecticut
  5. New Jersey

Minnesota is up one spot this year, from #8 in the 2018 report.

The only knock on Minnesota is of course, the weather. You can expect snow here at any time for a six-month stretch.

The worst states in the 2019 report are: Mississippi (#46), Louisiana (#47), Arkansas (#48), Alabama (#49), and New Mexico (#50).

It's good to be us!
