If You’re a Salaried Employee You’re Working for Free Leap Day

Did you know that if you're a salaried employee you're working for free on leap day? It's true.

Think about it--let's just say you make $20,000 a year. Last year, you made $20,000 to work 365 days. This year you're still going to make $20,000 but you're working 366 days. So, technically you're working for free today.

Now, most people have Saturday off. So, you don't really have to worry about it...but, there is one extra day in the year you probably aren't being paid for.

For those of you who don't think it's a big deal, consider this. If you're a factory worker, your company will make a profit on everything you produce that day...but, you won't make a dime more.
