The Made In Minnesota Expo is coming up on Saturday out at the River's Edge Convention Center.  There will be all kinds of businesses that are based here in Minnesota and ones whose products are produced here.  As a good consumer, I can say I'm going to get a lot of shopping done!

I was browsing the list of vendors and doing some online research.  I've found some things I'm certain I need to buy for gifts.

First, I'm going to check out Anywhere Log Furniture.  The company is based out of Rice and makes some pretty amazing log furniture.  They've got some beautiful tables and chairs, but my favorite is the outdoor bench.  I'm thinking that could be a great gift for my parents.

Design By Nina would probably be more for me than anyone else I have to shop for. Yes, I totally believe in buying myself presents.  She makes some gorgeous jewelry (one of the many things I dig as a consumer!)  I love the fact that her jewelry is totally unique without being gaudy.  I've got my eye on a few things but I'm for sure interested in at least one pair earrings.

I've got some difficult people to shop for each year but I think I can find something perfect from Frost River.  My dad and brothers hunt so I'm thinking I can find them a nice gun case or hunting bag that will make them happy.

My day won't be complete without checking out the Lolligobs booth.  They're based out of St. Louis Park and they make old fashioned hard candy.  The candy comes in all kinds of delicious flavors including cotton candy, pina colada, tropical and many more.  I'm getting so excited just writing about it!

Okay, so maybe I'm going to do more shopping for me but I can't help it!  I know how to shop for myself better than anyone!  There are so many great things to check out at Made In Minnesota Expo, you don't want to miss out.  Oh and did I mention there is free hotdish samples???
