Major League Baseball officials have released the 60-game schedule for the summer of 2020. The 2019 AL Central Division Champion Minnesota Twins will kick things off on July 24th.

The Twins' schedule will be a mix of games against American League Central Division and National League Central Division opponents to reduce travel. Twenty of the team's sixty games will be against National League opponents, and forty will be against American League teams.

The Twins will open the 60-game regular season on July 24th against the White Sox in Chicago. Minnesota will play its first game at Target Field on July 28th against the St. Louis Cardinals.

There will not be fans in the stands for the games, at least to start. State governments will have the final say on whether or not fans may eventually return to the ballparks. All 60 Twins regular season games will be televised on Fox Sports North, and carried on Saint Cloud's AM 1240/95.3 FM WJON.

As of today, four Minnesota Twins players have tested positive for the coronavirus, including Miguel Sanó, Willians Astudillo, and two minor league players on the 60-man camp roster. Both Sanó and Astudillo say they feel fine.
