Gusty winds combined with low humidities and dry conditions will increase wildfire danger across the central third of Minnesota where a Fire Weather Watch has been issued for Friday afternoon through Friday evening -- including Benton, Douglas, Kandiyohi, Meeker, Pope, Sherburne, Stearns, Swift, Todd, and Wright Counties.

Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
