Every year we all struggle with the same thoughts, "What should I dress up as for Halloween?" If that phrase has crossed your mind lately, you aren't alone. But I did find a cool website that will get you started on cool home-made costumes that won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Coolest Homemade Costumes website is chocked full of simple costumes for children and adults and the tips on how to pull them off.

You'll find everything from animals to celebrities and they even offer one of the hardest categories to find a costume for - couples.

I was talking to someone at lunch the other day and they were having a hard time coming up with an idea for a costume for them and their husband. I hate to admit it, but I was lost for ideas at the time. One of the most creative I saw on the site was a couple went as Swine Flu! That's not something that I would have thought of.

They also include some gory costumes including ways you can go as a headless person. The best part of the site is the instructions that come with each picture. They are written by the people that put the costume together and are pretty easy to follow.

Disney also has a website full of costume ideas for the kids. The Family Fun website has great last minute costumes that aren't going to win any awards, but are creative and really easy to pull off. They include the complete materials list and step-by-step instructions on how to make put them together.

If you haven't found what you are looking for by now, there's one more site I recommend. Costume Idea Zone has a everything from sexy costumes to group ideas. My favorite is going as the entourage of Deal or No Deal complete with Howie, the banker and the ladies.

Whatever you decide to go as, you better get a move on and get creative now. The longer you wait, the higher chance you have of going as a self portrait. Everyone will know you spent zero effort on your costume and you definitely won't win any prizes for best costume!
