| The Chamber Music Society of St. Cloud presents the Isidore String Quartet Saturday, April 11th, at 7:30 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 1111 Cooper Avenue South, St. Cloud. Tickets are available at chambermusicstcloud.org or at the door. Winners of the 2022 Banff International String Quartet Competition and a 2023 Avery Fisher Career Grant, the New York-based ensemble brings a fresh, vibrant approach to the string quartet repertoire. The program features music by Ligeti and Schubert, along with Billy Childs’ American Mosaic - a new work written for the Isidore. Additional Events: • Musical Chairs Fundraiser: Friday, April 10, 7 p.m. ($45) – An intimate evening featuring the quartet, local musicians, and a silent auction. • Free Family Concert: Saturday, April 11, 2 p.m. at the St. Cloud Public Library, sponsored by the Great River Regional Library.The main concert is sponsored by Keith and Molly Ewing in memory of Rob Lavenda and by Dale, Carol, and Maryne Mossey. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Central MN Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. |
