Many of us are worried if the cough we've had for a couple of weeks is related to Coronavirus; or is it just allergies? Is it just a cold? How do we know?

The Center for Disease Control says these are the symptoms we should be watching out for.

EARLY SYMPTOMS

These symptoms typically occur between 2-14 days of exposure:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath

If you develop emergency signs of the virus, you are asked to get medical attention immediately. These more serious signs include:

  • Difficulty Breathing; Shortness of breath
  • Pressure in your chest or persistent pain in the chest area
  • New confusion; or the inability to awaken from sleep
  • Bluish lips or face

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE CORONA-VIRUS

Call your Doctor first.  They may tell you where to go to get tested. Centracare is doing curbside testing for the virus in St. Cloud. You do need to have an appointment. You drive up, they will swab your nose, and you're done.
