I'll be the first one to admit that this event is so NOT for me. But, if you love creepy-crawly creatures, then you'll want to make sure to check out Como Park Zoo & Conservatory's 'Creepy Crawly Awareness' this weekend.

In true October/Halloween fashion, you'll be able to see creepy creatures and insects up close and personal, like tarantulas, giant cave cockroaches, African Milipede and more Oct. 18 through Oct. 20. You'll get a behind-the-scenes view of some of the animals that aren't displayed everyday.

Guests will also be able to make a spider craft and learn about carnivorous plants (the kind that eat insects). Zookeepers and special gardeners will be on-hand throughout the weekend filling your brain with creepy facts that'll make the night crawlers the star of the show.
