I know several people who were worried that COVID-19 meant the end of buffets as we know it. Well, I'm here to tell you, if you're a buffet lover then you're in luck.

The China Star Buffet in Waite Park has reopened their indoor dining. The announcement was made June 25 on their Facebook page. The restaurant wrote, "Bring your family to China Star for dinner! We have reopened for buffet dine-in* and are excited to welcome you back!!!"

It won't be exactly like the self-serving buffet experience you're used to. But, hey, a buffet is a buffet. Instead, China Star employees will be serving the food to you. You still get to experience 'all you can eat', just without all of the utensil touching.

For those who are worried that this means the end of takeout and delivery, don't worry. The restaurant says both of those options are still available.

I will say it was a little bit weird at first but it was a great dining experience still and just great to be back at China Star. Thank you all again for continuing great China Star quality food and service.
