Central Minnesotans Should Enjoy Sleeping in THIS Doghouse!
IT'S A SLUMBER PAWTY AT TCHS!
Are you an animal lover? Do you need an excuse to stay up all night long? Then this sounds like a really fun event to attend.
The Tri-County Humane Society is having a slumber party; correction. A Slumber PAWTY! The Slumber Pawty is possibly one of the firsts for Minnesota and is a great way for you and your friends to nominate someone to stay overnight with the animals at TCHS and raise funds for the much-needed cause.
A MESSAGE FROM KATE:
So, right now, we have 11 participants signed up to be fundraisers/animal advocates for the Slumber Pawty. They include TCHS volunteers/fosters/board members and some notable community members and businesses, such as:
Janelle Kendall
Nurture to Play
Ashley Green/Green Thumb
Poppy Salon
Raylene Johnson of Wags on Wheels Mobile Dog Grooming
Our guests will be in the shelter after hours. It will be 6:30 p.m. on April 5, and we're going until midnight. Yes, at least some of the guests will be in pajamas, and we'll make sure some animals will be, too! We'll be doing a lot of broadcasting via Facebook and Instagram that night; it's almost like a telethon, social media-style. Each participant is going to try to raise $1,000 or more each, and the general public can donate, too, through our website. We'll be doing some slumber party-type stuff - silly games - as well doing treats (popcorn!) and much more. Scooter's Coffee is going to be a sponsor that's fueling us, too, that night!

A PURR-FECTLY FUN TIME
You can join #TeamTCHS on April 5, 2025, for the TCHS Shelter Slumber Pawty. Animal-loving community members will join TCHS after shelter hours to raise much-needed funds for homeless animals. You can nominate someone to join the Pawty, volunteer to do it yourself, and then have your friends, family and co-workers follow TCHS on Facebook and Instagram during the Shelter Slumber Pawty to join the fun! Tri-County Humane Society will be sharing animals' stories and playing games.
If you feel like losing a little bit of shut-eye for a great cause or have someone you would like to nominate to join in the fun, please contact TCHS.
