Yesterday was a crazy weather day across Minnesota, with a Tornado Watch and several Tornado Warnings in the southern part of the state, rain and thunder in the Saint Cloud area, and Winter Storm Warnings with measurable accumulation to the north.

The snow in the Northern parts of the area didn't stop falling until this morning, and even though we know Old Man Winter's not done with us, these totals are impressive.

At one point yesterday afternoon, there was a Winter Storm Warning, Winter Weather Advisory, Tornado Watch, Tornado Warning, and Severe Thunderstorm Warning all active at the same time in Minnesota.

March is traditionally the third snowiest month of the year in Minnesota, so there shouldn't be any real surprise with what happened yesterday. We're probably not done yet either. January is historically the snowiest month of the year, followed closely by December.

There's a chance of rain and/or snow again across Central Minnesota this Sunday night through Tuesday, no accumulation expected at this time.
