State officials are warning that the Mississippi and Sauk Rivers could overflow their bounds as more snow melts.

The biggest reason for flooding this year will be because the ground was saturated when it froze back last year. Now that all the snow is melting, it can't soak into the ground, thus running off into the streams and rivers.
