It's no secret 'The Bachelor', 'The Bachelorette', and 'Bachelor Pad' are serious guilty pleasures of mine. Everyone in my life knows they are not aloud to even think about me on Monday nights when any of these series are on, so naturally I'm all over this news - ABC has finally announced the new Bachelor!

Second runner-up in the most recent season of 'The Bachelorette' with Emily Maynard Sean Lowe has been confirmed as the new Bachelor! The Dallas businessman is ready for his second shot at love on national television and I'm ready to watch. The new season will kick off in January, and if you ask me that is way too long of a wait! I would totally be OK with bypassing Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years if it meant the new season would start immediately...does that make me crazy?

There were rumors swirling for awhile that either former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky's ex-fiance Roberto Martinez or Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte would be given the chance to find love on the new season, but Sean prevailed.
