Help Alex Help the Animals: A Local Scout’s Big Goal
When I was a teenager, I was busy with school activities, such as competing in marching band competitions, cheerleading, and chasing boys. That's why I'm amazed at this forward-thinking young man for what he is working on accomplishing. It's a hefty goal, but I believe if anyone can do it, this young man can.
Alex Dietz volunteers at Tri-County Humane Society. He loves animals, but his parents don't allow him to have pets at home, so this is his way of caring for them.
FOR THE LOVE OF ANIMALS
Alex knows that even though TCHS has recently built an amazing new facility in the past few years, they still need additional space for storage of supplies and equipment that are necessary for their operations.

Alex is also a Life Scout with Troop 211 in Sartell. He is currently working to earn the rank of Eagle Scout, which is the highest achievement anyone can receive in the Scouts. Go Alex!

A SPECIAL MESSAGE TO YOU FROM ALEX
"Hi! My name is Alex. I'm a volunteer at the Tri-County Humane Society. I started volunteering because I love animals, and my parents won't let me have any pets! I'm also a Life Scout with Troop 211 in Sartell. I'm currently working toward earning the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Scouting.
One of the final steps on the trail to Eagle is completing a service project that benefits the community. I'm building a storage shed for the Humane Society for my project. As a volunteer, I've seen firsthand how much work goes into caring for the animals and how valuable extra storage space would be for the humane society's daily operations. This new shed would provide a safe, dedicated place to store equipment and supplies.
This is where I need your help. Your donation will go directly toward purchasing the materials needed to build the shed. Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated. Thank you for supporting both my project and the animals who will benefit from it!"
HOW YOU CAN HELP ALEX
Let’s be real. I don’t know many teens who would take on something like this. Alex isn’t just giving his time; He’s giving his heart, his energy, and his skills to build something lasting. And he’s doing it not for himself, but for the animals.
Alex’s fundraising goal is $8,000 to bring this project to life.
