I know, the title is not very optimistic but I'm not big on making New Year's resolutions, simply because I can never seem to stick to them.  It starts out great and all it takes is one misstep and then it's all over.

This isn't to say that there aren't things I want to improve, trust me there are many! When it comes to resolutions, I feel like the moment I make a plan, it's doomed to fail. I've been reading several articles on this to try to figure out why this happens and I've got one that I will share tomorrow.

In the meantime, I'm going to make a resolution, and no, it's not a resolution to not make resolutions anymore.  My goal is to get healthier in the new year, which means less chocolate, Mountain Dew and other junk food and making more healthy choices.  I know this can be done so I would say this is more about self discipline than anything else. Good luck to me!

Do you make New Year's resolutions?  If so, what is yours?  If not, how come?
