Winstock Concert Review: Dierks Bentley

When I first found out I was going to Winstock, I was excited to see Dierks Bentley but I was more excited for some of the other acts.  I learned a very valuable lesson: Dierks puts  on an incredible show!

He sang several of my favorite upbeat songs such as Am I the Only One?, 5-1-5-0 and Sideways.  He also put in a nice mixture of slower songs like Come A Little Closer and Home.  Of course no Winstock concert would be complete without a good beer drinking song like Tip it on Back.

He did a great job of keeping the crowd entertained and it would have been awesome to see the crowd from the sky as he sang Home.  Prior to the song he asked the crowd to light up their cell phones, which everyone did along with their light up mugs!  This was definitely my favorite show of the weekend!  In fact, we had so much fun we took the concert back to the campground and did a little Dierks karaoke.  I think we'll leave the singing to him from now on!
