It's a Halloween Movie AND a Christmas Movie! (Getty Images)

Here we go with another survey!

Today's survey du jour is from Christmas Lights Etc., which went so far as to break down which movies certain age groups preferred the most.

Are you 60+ years young? You prefer the classics from the 40's and 50's like Miracle on 34th StreetIt's a Wonderful Life, and White Christmas.

If you're in your 50s, you start to show preferences for animated holiday classics like How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the original one from 1966) and A Charlie Brown Christmas.

The 40-somethings veer back into live-action movies like A Christmas Story and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

Us Dirty 30s love absolute mischief for the holidays, with movies like Home Alone and Elf.

The under-30 whippersnappers? All over the place. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (still the original one), A Christmas Story, and Home Alone.

My personal preferences? The Nightmare Before Christmas and Die HardA Christmas Story is a must. I'll never change the channel if A Charlie Brown Christmas is on.
