Young Sea Lion Gets On Boat And Makes Himself At Home

Ok it's official, I now want a sea lion for a pet. They're basically like puppies of the ocean aren't they?  This little guy just get's on their boat and decides to chill out for awhile.

He crawled up on the guys lap and was begging for attention, rubbing on his legs like a cat would do.  How did this animal get so trusting, are they just naturally so affectionate?
