Grandma buys my little girl Candy Buttons (remember those?) and she loves them. Do you know you can make your own at home? Though, if you let your 3-year-old help, they may be less Candy Buttons and more Candy Puddles.

Candy Buttons are just Royal Icing. So, mix up a batch, color it your favorite colors (we like pink and purple), then put the icing in squeeze bottles.

Now, you just have to squeeze little buttons (or puddles) of the icing onto strips of paper. Freezer paper works really well. Let them dry for about 6 hours, or overnight.

Meanwhile, lick the beaters...and the spatula...and the bowl. Mmmmm, sugar!
