The Minnesota Timberwolves fell to the lowly Sacramento Kings 111-108 Wednesday night at Target Center. The Wolves trailed by 11 points at halftime and saw their fourth quarter comeback come up just short.

Rudy Gay was sensational for the Kings, scoring 33 points on 12-19 shooting, while guard Isaiah Thomas scored 26 on 10-16 shooting.

The Wolves were led by Kevin Love, who scored 27 points on 9-16 shooting from the floor including 4-6 from three point range. Six Minnesota players finished with double digits in scoring.

The loss drops the Timberwolves to 18-20 on the season, four games out of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Minnesota is at Toronto Friday night.
