Wintry Weather Ahead for Minnesota

Once again, St. Cloud is on the line of what could be either an accumulating snow, or an icy mix beginning Sunday night into Tuesday. Ice accumulation could make for slick roads (especially Monday morning). Heavy snow is possible from west central into northern Minnesota. 

From the National Weather Service this Morning: It will be dry and mild for the final day of 2016, but 2017 will not ring in on a quiet note weather-wise, given a storm system willl bring a wintry mix to the area on Sunday night into Monday with snow on Tuesday. Much colder air will follow from Wednesday onward with overnight lows falling to 5 below to 15 below zero.
