Snow, wind, falling temps, and dangerous wind chills have prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Winter Weather Advisory for Central Minnesota in effect through 6pm tonight. Limited visibilities and extreme wind chills are the main concerns. Bookmark the 98 Country interactive weather page for updates.

Northwest winds of 25 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph will combine with new snow to reduce visibilities making it difficult to travel. Additionally, wind chills will be -25 to -35, with 'feels like' readings dropping as low as -45, making prolonged outdoor exposure dangerous.
