We just hit the 40's yesterday and 'spring fever' was everywhere. Hold onto your snow pants, because we could be in for a whopper on Monday!

I don't want to believe it, and soon I'm going to need to fire up the seasonal affective disorder blue light...cause spring is still very far away according to many area meteorologists in the Midwest.

After somewhat average temps this weekend, a wet front is going to pass through Minnesota, and the temps in central Minnesota will be perfect to turn the precipitation into heavy snow. I checked out Paul Douglas' blog on Star Tribune and he gives us every model you can think of to show why he believes the snowfall expected Monday will be "plow-able" amounts.

It's hit or miss and still a few days away from now, and things could certainly change. Whatever changes between now and then, we can be certain there will be some snow. Exactly how much? We'll keep you updated as we monitor it.
