The definition of blustery happened on Tuesday, January 8th all across the state of Minnesota. It was garbage day in my Sauk Rapids neighborhood and I had multiple neighbors with bins blown over, sent down the sidewalk and even down the street. It was wild. But just how windy was it?

WCCO-TV Chief Meteorologist Christ Shafer shared an image on Twitter that gave wind speeds from across the state of Minnesota on 1/8/19. Basically if these winds were driving through a school zone, they'd be getting pulled over and handed tickets left and right.
