Country music legend Willie Nelson spoofs reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Blake Shelton and pop star Beyonce in a comical new post on his website announcing the 2013 Old Farts and Jacka-- Tour -- a clear reference to Shelton's recent comments that drew the ire of country star Ray Price.

Shelton told GAC's 'Backstory' that fans of classic country shouldn't judge the new music coming out of Nashville today. “Nobody wants to listen to their grandpa’s music,” the singer stated, adding, “And I don’t care how many of these old farts around Nashville going, ‘My God, that ain’t country!’ Well that’s because you don’t buy records anymore, jacka–. The kids do, and they don’t want to buy the music you were buying.”

Shelton later apologized to Price after his comments went viral.

Nelson's post states that the 79-year-old musician kicked off his Old Farts and Jacka-- Tour on Jan. 18, and goes on to reference the recent flap that arose after Beyonce was accused of lip-syncing the national anthem at President Obama's second inauguration.

"After much anticipation Willie Nelson finally emerged," the article on the legend's site reads. "Dressed in an all black ensemble by American designer Levi Strauss, the co-leader of the Old Fart Party mesmerized the crowd with the first dance, 'Whiskey River.'"

"The lip synching controversy would take over the headlines later, but the official answer from Nelson’s camp remained no," the post continues. "No Willie Vanillie here ladies and gentlemen, no tricky audio antics. Willie sang it all live. What we have elected to see is just a man, his band, his family and his guitar. The audience in Atlanta will testify before any congress; country is in good hands."

Nelson and Family will bring the Old Farts and Jacka-- Tour to the Taste of Country Music Festival, which takes place from June 13-15 at Hunter Mountain in New York. Other acts will include Lady Antebellum, Trace Adkins, Hunter Hayes, Billy Currington, Montgomery Gentry, Justin Moore, Blackberry Smoke, Joe Nichols, Gloriana, Dustin Lynch and many more.
