The Minnesota Wild defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 2-1 Tuesday night at the United Center. The Wild improve to 12-7-4 on the season.

Jason Pominville started the scoring for Minnesota in the first period with his second goal of the season, and Ryan Suter's putback of a Mikael Granlund shot late in the third period proved to be the game-winner.

The Wild return home on Thursday night to host the Toronto Maple Leafs. The game can be heard on AM 1390 The Fan beginning with the pregame show at 6:45 p.m.
