The Minnesota Wild (22-8-4) extended their historic winning streak to eleven games by beating the Nashville Predators (15-13-6) 3-2 in overtime last night at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

The Wild are now just one point behind Chicago -- in second place in the Central Division, but have played three fewer games than the Blackhawks. Minnesota went 3-0 on their just completed road trip, and return home now for a few games.

The Wild return home to the Xcel Energy Center with games against the New York Islanders on Thursday and the Columbus Blue Jackets on New Year's Eve. The Blue Jackets are on a 13-game winning streak of their own.
