The Wild beat the Florida Panthers 4-1 in Sunrise, Florida Monday night to improve to 12-8 on the season.

Jason Zucker scored a pair of goals for Minnesota to pace the win, beginning with a goal at 5:58 of the first period to give his team a 1-0 lead. Nino Neiderreiter scored his tenth goal of the season with just over two minutes remaining in the first period for a 2-0 Wild lead after one period.

Shawn Thornton cut the Wild lead to 2-1 with a goal about five minutes in to the second period, but Zucker responded with his second goal of the game with just over two minutes left in the second to give the Wild a 3-1 lead.

Zach Parise added an empty net goal late in the third period to make the score 4-1.

The Wild host the Kings Wednesday night at Xcel Energy Center.
