The Minnesota Wild (29-25-10) took back the Wild Card spot they gave up over a month ago with a 6-3 win over the Colorado Avalanche (32-29-4) last night at the Xcel Energy Center. Charlie Coyle and Nino Niederreiter both scored twice for the Wild.

Jason Pominville and Eric Haula each added a goal, and Devan Dubnyk stopped 30 of Colorado's 33 shots.

With the win, Minnesota now olds the final Western Conference Wild Card spot, seven points behind Nashville, who olds the first Wild Card position.

Next up for the Minnesota Wild: at Toronto tomorrow night (3/3) at 6:30 PM CT.
