The Minnesota Wild (23-9-4) saw their franchise winning streak stall at 12 games, falling to the Columbus Blue Jackets (26-5-4) 4-2 last night in St. Paul. With the win, the Blue Jackets extended their own winning streak to 15 games.

The Wild remain just one point behind Chicago -- in second place in the Central Division, but have played three fewer games than the Blackhawks.

Columbus is knocking on the door of the NHL record of the longest winning streak in league history -- held by the 1992-93 Pittsburgh Penguins at 17 games.

The Wild now embark on a three-game road trip taking them to San Jose, LA, and Anaheim -- starting with the Sharks on Thursday night. All three games can be seen on Fox Sports North, and heard in St. Cloud on AM 1240 WJON.
