The Minnesota Wild gave the fans the show they were hoping for at the Xcel Energy Center, dominating the St. Louis Blues en route to a 3-0 shutout -- and a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series. Pominville and Parise scored second period goals, and Niederreiter added an empty netter late in the third.

Wild goalie Devan Dubnyk stopped all 17 shots he faced from the Blues for his first career playoff shutout win. The Wild outshot St. Louis 24-17.

Honestly, I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a hockey game like I did last night. I can only imagine what it was like to be there. Electric! I also loved the fact that while the Blues strive play a physical and intimidating style -- they were unable to draw the Wild into even a single penalty.

Just win baby.

Next up for the Wild; Game 4 Wednesday night at 8:30 PM at the Xcel Energy Center (Radio: 1390 The Fan, TV: Fox Sports North).

Go Wild!
